Miguel Ángel Cornejo Loli is a Peruvian footballer who plays as a central midfielder. Born on January 18 2000 in Lima, he currently represents Deportivo Garcilaso in the Peruvian Liga 1.
Club career
Alianza Lima
In 2019, he made his debut for Alianza Lima, the club where he developed his skills. During the Apertura Tournament, he played the final 5 minutes of the second half in a victorious match against USMP, securing a 1-0 win. Subsequently, he became a regular starter for Alianza Lima’s reserve team, donning the captain’s armband and netting several goals in the last seasons. At the end of 2019, he was loaned to Unión Huaral, a second-division team, where he played four games.

Alianza Atlético 2023 Season and Contract with Garcilaso
On January 25 2023, he left the club and signed a one-year contract with Alianza Atlético. During his time with the team, he played 21 games and scored 3 goals. After his contract expired on January 1 2024, Cornejo was a free agent for a couple of months till he signed with Deportivo Garcilaso on March 14 2024.
