Napoli’s poor form has recently seen them move to second place, now one point behind Inter. Antonio Conte’s side have gone winless in the last four matches and suffered a 2-1 defeat against struggling Como in the previous fixture.

Despite a convincing start of the season, Napoli have deteriorated in attacking quality. It can be partially attributed to the departure of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who was a major force in the offence.

Ahead of the clash, Napoli have two major absentees. Frank Zambo Anguissa and David Neres are sidelined. Pasquale Mazzocchi did not feature against Como and will likely miss this fixture too.

In the midweek, Inter had a Coppa Italia clash with Lazio, beating them 2-0 and thus advancing to the semifinals. Simone Inzaghi’s side will face AC Milan in another thrilling encounter. 

Inter are dealing with a handful of injuries ahead of the match with Napoli. Valentin Carboni, Nicola Zalewski and Yann Sommer are out due to injuries. Carlos Augusto, Matteo Darmian and Marcus Thuram are questionable.

However, Antonio Conte’s team is not in the best shape either. Napoli have not won in their last four Serie A matches, and in the previous round in Como, they suffered their first defeat of the year.

Inter have scored the most number of goals in Serie A. Napoli, on the other hand, have never left the pitch without scoring a goal in 2025. We think that the teams will exchange goals in this fixture and our second pick would be both teams to score.
