Struggling to stay patient, Barcelona often rushed their counter-attacks and gave away possession cheaply in the most critical moments of the meeting. This was the case of Ronald Araújo, but also of Frenkie de Jong. Players are aware of the criticisms, with Jules Koundé and de Jong admitting to the media after the match that it was a “disappointing performance”.

It’s important to remember that Celta Vigo are close to qualification, but have a demanding schedule in the coming weeks. They will face Barcelona, Villarreal, and Real Madrid.
