The first of those came against Spain, while they were held by Switzerland in their most recent game. Germany went ahead in both of those games, but surrendered the points in the second half.
They will still be considered as one of the favourites for the EUROs next year, but they will need to become more defensively resolute if they have any chance of going deep in the competition. Ukraine have never beaten Germany in six previous meetings. There have been three draws and three wins for Germany.
