Congo and Namibia may both be unable to reach the next round of qualification, but both will be looking to end the qualification campaign on a high. Congo are the nation currently bottom of the standings in Group H, as they have picked up just two points.
They have been conceding goals at ease throughout qualification, as they have already allowed seven. Only Namibia have conceded more goals to this point. Both sides have been much better in the attacking third, as they have scored four goals. Only Senegal, who have already finished top of the group, have scored more.
Congo lost for the second time in qualification in their last game in October, as Togo ran out 2-1 winners. That would have been a disappointment, as they picked up a point on the road against the same opponents just a couple of days earlier. Guy Mbenza scored for Congo in that game to level the scores after 70 minutes, before they allowed Togo to go back into the lead just seven minutes later.
