Real Sociedad are enjoying a start to the season to remember. They are the current leaders of La Liga, having won six times this season. Sociedad have played a game more than the three sides directly below them, but their form has been excellent and has put them into a promising position to finish in the top four this season.

However, they would have been slightly disappointed not to have claimed maximum points on their trip to Atletico Madrid last time out. That was a huge success for Celta, as it ensured that they weren’t dragged into the relegation scrap by the team at the bottom of the standings. Santi Mina scored twice, while Iago Aspas also found the net in a very busy second period.
