It comes as a result of the 5-1 defeat to Real Betis last weekend, leading fans with signs saying “Ronaldo go home”. The fans request a total restructuring of the club’s leadership, including the exit of sporting director Domingo Catoira.

Valladolid have only won four games this season, dating back to December 2024, a 1-0 victory against Valencia. 

Karl Hein remains sidelined through injury, while Javi Sánchez and Henrique Silva await medical clearance.
