Atlético only created opportunities down the right wing, through Marcos and Giovanni. These efforts proved insufficient, prompting Simeone to bring on Griezmann and Correa, though the substitutions failed to change the outcome.

According to Relevo, Ángel Correa is unlikely to remain at the club beyond 2026, when his contract expires. We don’t foresee an extension as the Argentine has a verbal agreement with Tigres UANL.
