Poland will be many people’s ideas as the most likely winner of Group E in qualification. The nation led by Robert Lewandowski has managed to qualify for each of the previous four EUROs, including in the previous campaign where they ended qualification having recorded eight wins from ten matches. That was their joint-best ever qualifying campaign, and they conceded just four goals.
There will certainly be confidence around the camp coming into qualification, as they enjoyed a solid Nations League campaign last year after winning two from six matches in Division A. Albania enjoyed a steady Nations League campaign in 2022, as they finished third in their debut outing in Division B. However, there may not be a lot of confidence around the camp, as they have picked up just one win from their previous ten internationals. Although, that win did come in their most recent friendly against Armenia.
