Man City come into the latest round of Premier League matches in somewhat of a crisis, but they will be hopeful of ending their four-match winless sequence when they travel to Kenilworth Road to take on Luton Town on Sunday.

It has been a very testing period on the field for the reigning Premier League champions, as Man City come into the weekend after going four matches without a win. Their season reached a new low in midweek, as they faltered to a 1-0 loss on the road against Aston Villa. In that match, City mustered just two shots in 90 minutes, which was the fewest of any Pep Guardiola-managed side in club history.
Luton Town would have been looking forward to this fixture when the matches were announced over the summer, as it will give them an opportunity to test themselves against one of the very best sides in the world. Interestingly, Luton have picked up wins in each of their previous seven home matches against reigning champions in the top division. However, all those victories were recorded between 1985 and 1992. Defensively, they will need to show massive improvement this weekend, as they are still without a clean sheet this term.
