Barcelona currently hold a five-point advantage on their nearest challengers, Atleti and Betis. Los Verdiblancos finished fifth last year and are exceeding expectations in third place. A surprise 1-0 win over Real Madrid has been the highlight of their campaign to date.

Raphinha is setting the pace in terms of goals in La Liga. The Brazilian is playing in a new role as a central striker, and he has struck 12 times already. He's averaging 1.71 goals per game and heads into the international break following successive hat-tricks.
There is a significant gap to Kylian Mbappé, Lamine Yamal and Sergio Camello, who are all tied on seven goals. Camello's form has been a real surprise. He's averaging a goal every 67 minutes for Rayo Vallecano, who are 12th in the standings.
