It has been a tough start to the season for Köln, as they already find themselves in the relegation playoff position after failing to win in five. Köln lost their opening three games to the Bundesliga season, but have managed to get back to some kind of positive form over the past two weeks by picking up consecutive draws. The first of these came against Frankfurt, before they were able to pick up another 1-1 draw in their most recent game against Stuttgart. Köln went behind in the opening minute of that game, before Sebastian Andersson levelled the scored in the 23rd minute from the spot. However, they will be wary of Bayern this weekend, as they will not want to be on the receiving end of a big scoreline.
