The success has lifted the Toffees up to 15th in the standings, and they could move up to 12th if they are able to pick up maximum points this weekend. However, Everton have struggled for consistency since the start of last season, as they have picked up back-to-back wins on just one occasion. Their most recent winless start saw them go nine without a victory in the 1974-75 season.
