Other Group I Results: Scotland 6-0 San Marino & Cyprus 0-5 Russia
Group C- Belarus 1-2 Netherlands
It has been a near-perfect international break for the Dutch as they have cemented their position at the top of the group following two big wins. They backed up their win against Northern Ireland with another success on Sunday evening against Belarus. Georginio Wijnaldum scored a brace for the visitors before the break. However, the hosts pulled one back in the second half through Stanislaw Drahun. The Dutch were able to hang on though.
Other Group C Result: Estonia 0-3 Germany
Group E- Wales 1-1 Croatia
Ryan Giggs’ Welsh side kept their European hopes alive with a hard-fought draw in Cardiff on Sunday evening. A win would have been the ideal result, but a draw means that wins in all the next qualifiers will give them a great chance. Meanwhile, the draw keeps Croatia at the top of the group as they edge towards qualification. Nikola Vlasic had put the Croatians in front after nine minutes, but Gareth Bale equalised for the hosts on the brink of half time.
Other Group E Result: Hungary 1-0 Azerbaijan
