FC Köln will be looking for the points themselves this weekend, as they are looking to move clear of the relegation places. They currently sit three points above the relegation playoff spot, and four points above the automatic drop zone. They had been in excellent form, as they picked up three wins from four games before their two more recent fixtures. However, back-to-back defeats has dragged them back into the relegation battle this season, and are currently only where they are in the league due to the shortcomings of the teams below them.
