They still remain sixth in the current Serie A standings, but they are just three points off the top four coming into this weekend.
Mourinho would have been happy with his side’s performance on their return to action in midweek, as they defended well to hold on to a 1-0 win against Bologna. The only goal in that victory was scored after just six minutes from the penalty spot by Lorenzo Pellegrini.
