Both bottom clubs went down automatically. Al Bataeh finished 13th and Dibba 14th, with no relegation play-off involved, while Al Dhafra secured survival directly by beating Al Wahda 1-0 on the final day to reach 22 points.

One point on the continental places is worth clarifying. Because Al Ain won both the league and the President's Cup, the knock-on effect sent fourth-placed Al Jazira into the Champions League Elite preliminary round. The 2025/26 awards were handed out at the UAE Pro League ceremony on 10 August in Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain dominated. Matias Palacios took the Golden Ball for Best Player, beating teammates Laba and Soufian Rahimi. Al Ain's flawless campaign

Kodjo Laba's farewell
