Florian Wirtz has long been on the radar of the world’s leading clubs. The young German talent has managed to become one of the most exciting players to watch, and it is likely that we will see him playing for another team during the 2025/26 season.
Wirtz’s Emergence To Stardom
Regarded as one of Germany’s biggest talents, Florian Wirtz emerged at Bayer Leverkusen in 2020. From his first game, he was known for his technical skills and his ability to cover a lot of ground on the pitch.

Vincent Kompany is also likely to carry out some reorganization in the team, and with some players already looking for new clubs, Wirtz could be the perfect addition. However, the problem could be his position, as Jamal Musiala is currently expected to be the team’s major creative force.
Although the Leverkusen talisman is capable of playing on the wing as well, this is not his usual position, and I don’t think Kompany will position him there. After all, Wirtz is most effective when he is deployed in the midfield.
