The current league leaders in Serie A will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after their first draw of the season in their last game. But, will AC Milan be able to get back to winning ways on the road against Udinese?
AC Milan have undoubtedly been the standout side in Serie A so far this season, as they are one of just three teams with an unbeaten record at present. They stated the season with four wins on the bounce, but that record was brought to an end last time out as they were held to a first draw of the season against AS Roma. It was an excellent fixture in Serie A, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring a brace for the home side.
Alexis Saelemaekers also found the net in the 3-3 draw, but Milan were denied all three points as Roma found an equaliser with six minutes remaining. Milan will be keen to get back to winning ways this weekend, as the gap between themselves and second place Napoli stands at just two points at present.
It has been a hard start to the new season for Udinese, and they will already be fearful that there could be along season ahead for them. They have won just once in five Serie A games so far this season, with that only win coming against Parma a couple of weeks ago. They have lost all the other games that they have played this season, and they will come into this game against Milan off the back of being beaten by Fiorentina last time out. The two goals for Udinese in the 3-2 defeat were both scored by Stefano Okaka.
AC Milan won the last fixture between these two sides 3-2, which also means that they have won three of the previous six matches. Udinese have one just once against Milan, with that victory also coming last season in Serie A. Milan have only won once away from home against Udinese in the past four meetings.
AC Milan have been in excellent form at the start of this season, and they will be keen to show that last weeks draw against Roma was just a blip. We expect Milan to bounce back to winnings ways against Udinese, and it should be a comfortable scoreline.
