Serie A clubs spent big this summer, with AC Milan, Juventus, and Inter Milan leading an active transfer window. Several deals also flowed the other way, as Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham sold key players to Italian sides.

Below are the ten biggest confirmed Serie A transfers, ranked by fee, with all prices given in euros and converted to pounds where the deal originated in sterling.

Diego Moreira: RC Strasbourg to AC Milan — €50m (up to €71m)##

AC Milan won a late race for Belgian winger Diego Moreira, beating out interest from RB Leipzig and Roma. Milan paid a fixed fee of €50m, with add-ons and a Chelsea sell-on clause potentially pushing the total to €71m. Moreira had impressed at Strasbourg after developing at Benfica and briefly featuring for Chelsea. He has signed a contract running until 2031 and will wear the number 22 shirt

Randal Kolo Muani: Paris Saint-Germain to Juventus — €38m (up to €50m)##

Juventus finally secured Randal Kolo Muani on a permanent deal after two loan spells away from PSG. The Bianconeri paid a guaranteed €38m, with performance bonuses that could raise the fee to €50m. Kolo Muani had already impressed during a loan spell in Turin in 2025, scoring 10 goals in 22 appearances. He has signed a five-year contract running until June 2031.

Curtis Jones: Liverpool to Inter Milan — €35m

Inter Milan ended Curtis Jones's 16-year association with Liverpool in a deal worth up to £30m. The Serie A champions paid a fixed £25.7m plus £4.3m in add-ons, with Liverpool retaining a 10% sell-on clause. Jones made 228 appearances for Liverpool since joining as a nine-year-old. He becomes the third England international to join Inter this summer, following John Stones and Djed Spence.

Djed Spence: Tottenham to Inter Milan — €35m

Inter Milan added England full-back Djed Spence from Tottenham in a deal worth up to £30m. Spurs also negotiated a 10% sell-on clause as part of the agreement. Spence starred for England at the World Cup, but faced heavy competition for his place at Tottenham. He replaces Denzel Dumfries, who left Inter for Real Madrid earlier in the summer.

Kerim Alajbegovic: Bayer Leverkusen to Juventus — €30m (up to €37m)##

Juventus beat Chelsea to sign highly-rated Bosnian winger Kerim Alajbegovic from Bayer Leverkusen. The Bianconeri paid a guaranteed €30m, with bonuses potentially taking the package to €37m. Remarkably, Alajbegovic had never played a competitive senior match for Leverkusen, having spent last season on loan at Salzburg. He has signed a five-year deal through 2031.

Trevoh Chalobah: Chelsea to Como — €30m (up to €36m)##

Como completed the signing of academy graduate Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea after nearly two decades at Stamford Bridge. The deal is worth a guaranteed €30m, with add-ons and a sell-on clause pushing the total toward €36m. Chalobah reunites with former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, now managing Como. He made 151 appearances for Chelsea and was a late call-up to England's World Cup squad.

Rodrigo Mora: Porto to Roma — €25m##

Roma completed a long and difficult negotiation to sign 19-year-old Portuguese talent Rodrigo Mora from Porto. The fixed fee is set at €25m, with Porto retaining 50% of any future resale. Mora was given an emotional welcome by 500 fans upon arriving in Rome. His contract includes a striking €120m release clause.

Mateo Pellegrino: Parma to Fiorentina — €22.5m (up to €25m)##

Fiorentina beat competition from Juventus to sign Argentine striker Mateo Pellegrino from Parma. The deal is worth a fixed €22.5m plus €2.5m in add-ons. Pellegrino scored 12 goals in 39 appearances for Parma last season. His arrival was paired with Roberto Piccoli's exit to Bologna on loan.

Jhon Lucumi: Bologna to Juventus — €20m##

Juventus secured Colombian defender Jhon Lucumi from Bologna after he rejected offers from five other clubs. The total package, including bonuses, comes to around €20m. Lucumi had a €28m release clause that expired before the move was agreed at a reduced fee. He signs a contract running until June 2031.

Beto: Everton to Fiorentina — €18m##

Fiorentina completed a deadline-day move for striker Beto from Everton, returning him to Serie A after his Udinese days. The Portuguese-born Guinea-Bissau international joins for a fee of around €18m. Beto struggled for regular starts at Everton despite scoring 20 goals in 99 Premier League appearances. He gives Fiorentina a more physical, aerially dominant option up front.
