Conor McGregor: “I’ve put more fighters to sleep than surgical procedures have”

Former UFC champion in two divisions, Irishman Conor McGregor, recalled a successful career in mixed martial arts. According to him, he has put to sleep more fighters in the octagon than it happens during surgical procedures.

“I’ve slept more fighters than surgical procedures.

Yup meek milli I’m comin for the billi. And I mean REALLY!” – he wrote in his Instagram account.

Recall that earlier McGregor announced that he would fight with Dustin Poirier on December 12, 2020. There was no mention of the UFC organization on the published post. After that, Poirier announced that he agreed to fight McGregor under the patronage of the UFC organisation. McGregor also agreed to the proposal.

The first fight McGregor vs Poirier took place on September 27, 2014, and ended with the victory of the Irishman by knockout.

McGregor held his first bout in mixed martial arts in 2008. The 32-year-old athlete had his last fight in January 2020 and knocked out Donald Cerrone in 40 seconds. He has 26 fights in mixed martial arts with 22 victories and 4 defeats on his account.
