Stuttgart are unbeaten in their previous six matches against Mainz. However, their only win over that period was secured in this exact fixture last season in May, as they stormed to a 4-1 win on the road. The last win for Mainz in this fixture was secured in 2018. However, they are winless in their last three at home against Stuttgart.
This is a huge challenge for Mainz this weekend, as they come up against one of the in-form teams in the division.
