Juventus have improved their form over recent weeks, and will be looking to keep that run going this weekend when they welcome Udinese to Turin. The visitors will be looking to avoid back-to-back defeats in Serie A this weekend.
Juventus looked to have blown their chance of Champions League qualification in the first half of the Serie A season, but recent form has put them back on course for a strong challenge for a place in the top four. The Old Lady come into this fixture against Udinese just three points behind Atalanta, while they are sitting six points ahead of Fiorentina.
Juventus have turned their season around over the course of the last five games, as they have picked up three wins and two draws. It was a huge victory for the Old Lady in their last outing in Serie A, as they claimed a comeback victory against AS Roma.
Roma led 3-1 with 20 minutes remaining, but three goals in the space of eight minutes turned the tide in the favour of the Old Lady. Manuel Locatelli scored on 70 minutes, before Dejan Kulusevski and Mattia De Sciglio scored on 72 and 77 minutes, respectively.
Udinese will still be looking over their shoulders at present, as they survival in Serie A is far from assured. They are just four clear of the drop zone, and have picked up just a single victory in their last five league fixtures. Udinese were also hammered in their last fixture, which was their first game since the middle of December.
The last two Udinese fixtures had been suspended, which meant that their game against Atalanta last weekend was their first fixture in nearly a month. They looked sluggish throughout the fixture, as they were well-beaten 6-2 by the Champions League hopefuls.
The previous meeting between the sides ended in a 2-2 draw in August, as Udinese came back from 2-0 down in the second half. Juventus had won the two previous meetings before that draw. The last win for Udinese in this fixture came in July 2020.
Juventus are unbeaten at home against Udinese in five meetings, and we struggle to see that run ending here. The Old Lady have been much better over their last five games, and should pick up a routine 2-0 victory this weekend.
