KHL star Kirill Kaprizov received a US working visa and arrived in Minneapolis to join the Minnesota Wild. Video of Kaprizov’s arrival at the airport was published on the official Twitter of the Minnesota Wild.
The Russian ice hockey forward signed a two-year rookie contract with Minnesota. The Russian will not take part in the remaining matches of the season and the first year of his contract will burn out according to the terms of the new collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
Kaprizov has made his debut in the KHL in the 2014/2015 season as part of Metallurg Novokuznetsk. He spent two seasons at Novokuznetsk, after which he moved to Salavat Yulaev Ufa. He spent a year with the team and then moved to CSKA, where he won the Gagarin Cup in 2019. During his career in the KHL, the forward played 340 matches, scored 124 goals, and made 137 assists.
