Biography
Muhamad Hafiy Haikal bin Ismail (born 24 April 1998) is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays in the defender position for Malaysia Super League club Kelantan United.
Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he started his football journey at 16 years old with Frenz United. He would later join Harimau Muda C in 2015 before making his professional debut with Johor Darul Ta’zim II. His current market value sits around €50,000.
Club career
Johor Darul Ta’zim II (2016-2022)
Hafiy Haikal joined the club after being transferred from Harimau Muda C. He played for JDT II from 2016-2022, with 13 appearances to his name. But he wasn’t able to score a single goal in all these matches.
Kelantan United (2022-Present)
Hafiy joined the MSL club Kelantan United on 4 January 2023. He made his first debut on 26 February 2023 but wasn’t able to score a goal against Selangor. So far, he’s had 6 appearances playing for Kelantan United. But he’s yet to score a single goal in the 2023/24 season.
International Career
Hafiy Haikal also played for the Malaysia U19 team in the 2015 AFF U-19 Youth Championship. During the duration of the competition, he played in 4 matches without scoring even one goal.
In 2018, he was called up to the Malaysia U21 training camp in Kelana Jaya. He still hasn’t made his international debut with this squad.
