Alessandro Bastoni spent the bulk of his youth career in the Atalanta youth club system. He was a regular starter at the Primavera level.
Atalanta (2016-2017)
In 2016, Bastoni was promoted to Atalanta’s senior squad. In two years of play, he made a total of three Serie A appearances for the club.
Inter Milan (2017-)
In August 2017, Bastoni was signed by Serie A’s Inter Milan. The club then immediately loaned the player back to Atalanta. In 2018, Bastoni was loaned by Inter to Parma.
National career
Youth Football
Alessandro Bastoni has played for the youth national team at all levels. He made a total of 63 appearances for Italy, 12 of which were at the U21 level.
In 2019, he was selected to represent Italy at the European Under-21 Championship.
