Marcelo Bielsa has reignited the hopes of Uruguay within their national side this summer, and they have quickly emerged as one of the strong contenders to win the Copa America.

Bielsa’s trademark high-pressing style has worked to perfection to this point, and we could see Brazil once again falling victim to the style, just as they did late last year. Therefore, we will be siding with Uruguay to over-power their South American rivals and set up a likely tie against Colombia in the semi-final.
Uruguay’s wide players could prove to be the key in the final third this weekend, and a forgotten Man United man could be an excellent betting angle.
Facundo Pellistri has been trusted by Bielsa throughout this year due to his excellent ball-carrying ability, and he has already netted twice in five appearances in 2024. He could be a strong contender to improve that international record against Brazil.
