Torino sit 11th in Serie A, having only won one match in the last five, which was a 2-0 victory over Udinese. Goals from Adams and Dembélé secured an important victory, considering the lack of regularity in the squads’ performances. 

The team could not defeat Venezia. It may have been one of the most disappointing displays in recent times. Torino conceded in the 36th minute after a strike from Pérez, and only saved the night with a converted penalty in the 77th minute.

Inzaghi rotated his players in the Serie A match against Verona, preceding the UCL tie against Barça. This was necessary due to the limited squad depth and an ageing player. However, it didn’t stop Inter from claiming a 1-0 success.

Valentin Carboni is out due to an injury, and Benjamin Pavard is still waiting for the medical green light.
