Milan’s era under Sérgio Conceição seemed promising as Milan defeated Juve and Inter earlier this month.

The club is trying to re-sign Eric Garcia from Barcelona, where he has seen limited playing time under Flick, who could provide the required depth in the defence.

Girona lost to Sevilla (2-1) last weekend, a defeat which was marked by Girona’s individual mistakes. The Catalans lost balls in possession, which allowed Sevilla to take advantage of the situation. 

While Girona’s La Liga campaign has been disappointing, their Champions League performance has been even worse. In six matches, Girona lost five and only won once, which ended in a 2-0 victory against SK Slovan. They are currently 30th and unlikely to make it to the next stage of the Champions League.
