INEOS took the world by surprise by firing Erik Ten Hag this week. Although the team has failed to progress in the past two years, the timing has left many puzzled. While Ten Hag’s departure was anticipated, many question why the decision wasn’t made before the start of the season.
Rubén Amorim has been confirmed as Ten Hag’s successor, he will start on November 11 at Old Trafford.

Despite the chaos amidst an excess of signings, Enzo Maresca has found a balance within Chelsea’s ranks. He mostly uses only half of his available squad, as he quickly understood this would serve the team’s interests.

This match may not produce a 4-3 thriller like the last encounter, but goals are certainly expected.
However, it’s difficult to predict what Manchester United will look like under van Nistelrooy, as it will be his Premier League debut as United’s gaffer. The team was set up for failure under Erik ten Hag, which means the bar for success is arguably lower than ever.
On the other hand, Chelsea will rely on Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez to spark quick transitions. However, João Félix’s lack of progress has been an issue at Stamford Bridge, as his lack of impact in the final third has become a big issue for the Blues.
Changing coaches in the middle of the season rarely provides a quick fix, as managers need time to reshape their teams.
In this case, United’s players will be managed by Ruud van Nistelrooy, who joined the team as assistant coach this summer. Though interim appointments often bring minimal impact, this year alone will see United working with at least four different managers.
I expect United’s instability to give Chelsea a major advantage despite the match taking place at the legendary Old Trafford. Mudryk has finally been in form, and Chelsea hasn’t been this functional in years.
Mudryk’s scoring history is far from the best, but he could impress against Manchester United at Old Trafford this weekend.
