However, injuries to Edon Zhegrova and Ethan Mbappe (who have picked up a muscle and hamstring injury, respectively) will put paid to all the grandiose plans Lille have. Tiago Santos, too, has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament issue.

Three wins out of their previous five matches and a 0-2 loss to Brest will give Lille a lot of mixed signals. Their confidence will be high owing to having kept one clean sheet, with their defenders looking forward to doing so yet again, against Reims. 

Jonathan David has created the highest number of big chances for Lille (8) and will be the main player to watch out for. The squad usually like to play with a 4-4-2 formation, with Sahraoui partnering with David up front. It gives him an able ally to create lay-offs and one-two situations.

Along with Nakamura, Mohamed Daramy will not be available for selection on Saturday. He hasn’t been suspended but has picked up a knee injury. Daramy is expected to come back later this month. 

These players are vital for Reims, and in their absence, others in the roster have to step up. Along with this duo, Reda Khadra and Yaya Fofana are also unavailable due to injuries. Both Khadra and Fofana are expected back in action later this month.
