Marco Baroni’s Lazio moved into the Champions League spots with a fine 2-1 win at Cagliari last Monday. However, it would be a concern that they have failed to win their last four home matches after previously winning five on the bounce. But, their two wins in three is a big bonus after previously winning just twice in seven.

Baroni has injury doubts this weekend, with Elseid Hysaj missing due to a hamstring injury. Manuel Lazzari and Filipe Bordon also aren’t expected back until the end of the month. Matias Vecino and Danilo Cataldi are longer term issues with thigh issues.

It has been a relatively quiet month on the transfer front, but Reda Belahyane and Oliver Provstgaard could both be named on the bench. Arijon Ibrahimovic has been brought in for cover in the number nine position. Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro and Gaetano Castrovilli have both been allowed to leave for Monza on loan.
