Tudor has committed to a 3-4-2-1 structure built around verticality and man-oriented pressing. There’s minimal focus on slow buildup. Instead, on regaining possession, the plan is simple: go forward quickly. Dušan Vlahović is the primary target, with support from two dynamic attacking midfielders behind him.

The breakout performer so far is Kenan Yildiz. The young Turkish forward has thrived in one of those advanced roles, scoring three goals in two games. Tudor’s system demands immense physical output. That intensity is difficult to sustain over 90 minutes, especially against a squad that controls possession as well as City do. 

As legs tire, Guardiola’s team will find gaps and begin to dictate the tempo. A draw remains possible, but City have the tools to win a tough, tactical battle.

But even if Juventus’ system works, City have players who can create something from nothing. Jérémy Doku can beat defenders in isolation and deliver from wide areas. Phil Foden can strike in limited space. Erling Haaland needs only a half-chance, and he’ll punish it.
