What’s more worrying for Genoa is that they haven’t even won once in their last five outings. The squad will play out of their skins to ensure that they do so on Saturday. 

Striker Andrea Pinamonti has the highest number of shots on target per match for his team (0.9), and will be relied on a lot to pull a goal or two back once they concede to Atalanta.

Centre-forward, Mateo Retegui, is the competition’s top scorer (24) and will be expected to add to his tally against Genoa’s defensive frailties. Gianlucca Scamacca, who would have helped Retegui in the attacking third, has been ruled out with an injury. Giorgio Scalvini, Juan Cuadrado, Marco Palestra, Sead Kolasinac and Stefan Posch are also sidelined.
