Real Betis vs Valencia Prediction: La Liga Match on 27.10.2021

Valencia will be looking to put a terrible run of results behind them when they travel to one of the in-form sides in La Liga on Wednesday evening. Betis will be looking for a fifth win in six to move into the Champions League place, and could end the round of fixtures in top spot depending on other results.

La Liga Preview

Real Betis have started the La Liga season in excellent form, and they will be coming up against a Valencia side that have failed to win in their last five on Wednesday night.

Betis have won four of their last five games, which has seen them rise in the league standings to fifth. They are currently level on points with the reigning Spanish champions, and could move to the top of the league should they get a win and none of the sides able them pick up maximum points this week.

Betis have won their last two coming into this fixture, with their last victory coming against Rayo Vallecano. William Jose scored a late penalty to earn the three points, while Alex Moreno and Juanmi scored in the first half.

Valencia have dropped down the league standings quickly after an impressive start to the campaign. They are winless in their last five fixtures in La Liga, and have picked up just three points during that run. Valencia are in tenth, but could move up to seventh with a victory on the road against Betis.

Valencia fought back to get a 2-2 draw in their last fixture in La Liga, as Goncalo Guedes and Jose Gaya both scored in injury time at the end of the game to save a point after the hosts were 2-0 down at the end of the first half. It could be a morale-boosting point for Valencia.

Real Betis vs Valencia Head to Head

Valencia have claimed victory against Betis on just one occasion in the last four meetings. That win came at the Mestalla in February 2020. Betis took four points from Valencia last season, winning away and picking up a 2-2 draw in their home fixture in April.

Real Betis vs Valencia Prediction

Manuel Pellegrini’s side have started the season very well, and look to have excellent confidence coming into this match. Betis should get the win, but there is likely to be just one goal separating the sides at the conclusion.
