It has been a slow start to the new Ligue 1 season for PSG, as Luis Enrique adjusts to his new position. PSG currently sit fifth in the league standings, as they have won just two of their opening five matches. They come into this weekend’s fixture looking for a response as they suffered a first defeat of the campaign last weekend. 

So far this term, the Parisians have picked up just eight points from their five matches, which is their lowest tally at this stage of the campaign in the QSI era. Their home record certainly needs to improve under Enrique, as PSG come into this fixture having lost five of their last nine in Ligue 1 at the Parc des Princes. Marseille will be the visitors to Paris this weekend, as they bid to improve on their start to the new season. At present, they sit third in the Ligue 1 standings after picking up two wins and three draws from their opening five fixtures. But, they have been held to draws in each of their previous two matches in the competition. 

Marseille will need to be more consistent on the road if they are to challenge for the title this term, as they have picked up maximum points on their travels on just one occasion in the last seven. They could go their first three away matches at the start of a new season without a win for the first time since 2016-17 this weekend.
