Portugal U21, at the bottom of Group A and at risk of being knocked out of the Euro U21 championships, will lock horns with Belgium U21 on Tuesday at 16:00 GMT, with both teams looking for their first win at the tournament.
Portugal made a losing start to their Group A action when they were beaten by Georgia 2-0. In matchday 2, the penultimate clash of the Group stage, Portugal U21 could only manage a 1-1 draw against Netherlands U21. Having taken the lead in the 20th minute, they were pegged back by the Netherlands U21 in the 78th minute.
Belgium have had two draws out of the two matches in Group A. They head into the final match of the group, uncertain of whether they can make it out of Group A. Their first match against Netherlands U21 ended in a 0-0 stalemate, whereas their second clash against Georgia U21 ended in a 2-2 draw. Belgium U21 will need to final match to stand a chance of making it out of the group and into the knockout stages.
