Only Arsenal have won more fixtures in sequence in the group stage, as the Gunners landed ten wins between October 2020 and October 2022.

This will be the first meeting between these sides since the last 16 tie in the 1965-66 Cup Winners’ Cup. That clash saw the Hammers progress with a 6-2 aggregate victory over two legs. Meanwhile, the Greek side are winless in their previous six home matches against English opposition.
