It has been a largely progressive start to the Serie A season for Juventus, as they look to climb their way back to the top of the Italian game. The Old Lady come into the weekend sitting second in the standings, but they have suffered just a single defeat in their opening 13 matches this term. 

Juventus have been excellent in recent weeks, as they have picked up four wins from their last five matches. They could move to the top of the table on Friday, as they only sit two points behind of Inter Milan at this early stage. The Old Lady would have taken confidence from their recent performance against the current leaders, as they earned a 1-1 draw in front of their own fans. The Italian club has won four of their opening 13 matches, but they have suffered just three defeats. Draws have become a slight issue in recent weeks, as they have played out ties in three of their last four. 

That includes the fact that they have played out draws in each of their previous two matches in the competition. Their latest draw was played out on the road against Cagliari, with Mirko Maric netting the equalising goal for Monza with half an hour remaining.
