Two sides that will be in desperate need of a win in the Premier League will meet this weekend at Old Trafford. Manchester United will be looking to build on a win in their last game, while West Bromwich Albion will be looking for a first win of the season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will still be under intense pressure at Manchester United coming into this fixture, but a first home league win of the season would ease that pressure slightly. United had been in terrible form before the international break as they had won just once in three Premier League games. Going into that fixture at Goodison Park, there were numerous reports that United were preparing to fire Solskjaer if United were beaten at Everton. However, not for the first time, United were able to raise their game just as the pressure on their manager was rising. It was one of the finest performances of the season so far from United, as they came back from a goal down to win 3-1 at Goodison. Bruno Fernandes was the standout player, as he scored a first-half brace for the Red Devils. The game was wrapped up in the final moments by Edinson Cavani, who scored his first goal for United.
West Brom’s return to the Premier League hasn’t gone as well as many fans would have been hoping. They are yet to win a game so far this season, and have lost five of their eight fixtures. The pressure on Slaven Bilic is also rising with every defeat that is recorded. West Brom were much better in their recent game against Tottenham Hotspur, and were good value for a point. However, the travelling Spurs struck late to deny the Baggies a hard-earned point, as Harry Kane fired home with five minutes remaining. This will be another tough fixture for the Baggies.

West Brom haven’t fared too badly against Manchester United in recent seasons, as they have won two of the previous five. That includes a win in their most recent visit to Old Trafford in April 2018.
