Lazio vs Juventus Prediction: Serie A Match on 07.12.2019

Serie A is ready to offer us some more spectacle as Lazio host Juventus at the legendary Stadio Olimpico.

The unstoppable Laziali

Lazio is playing perhaps the most attractive football in Italy this season. They attack all the time, score a ton of goals, and it all culminated in Laziali climbing up to third in the league table, just behind the unprecedented duo of Inter and Juventus. 33 goals in 14 matches speak volumes as Simone Inzaghi’s offensive mind is flourishing within the side ready to battle for the Champions League spots. Team’s best goalscorer, Ciro Immobile, is taking down all sorts of records, having scored 17 goals in just 14 appearances, which is seven more goals than the league’s second-best goalscorer in Lukaku. However, Lazio is far from just a one-man team. Just like Immobile leads the league with goals, Luis Alberto does the same with assists, already racking up nine.

The team is on a six(!) match win-streak in the Serie A, going undefeated for nine matches in a row now. They look as good as ever, and the time to host the champions is now.

And the champions? Well, Juventus do have their fair share of problems this season. Mauricio Sarri arrived and brought some historical figures in terms of points won. However, with Antonio Conte’s Inter a point ahead of them, it’s not worth much for Sarri as anything but winning the Scudetto would be a failure for the manager.

Clutch Juventus

Bianconeri can even count themselves lucky to have 36 points, as a ton of matches went in their favor with a late winner, such as in duels against Napoli, Atalanta, Genoa, Milan, etc. This is obviously an unsustainable streak, and Cristiano Ronaldo & co will have to do better in the offensive phase of the game.

The good news, however, are still there. Paulo Dybala is playing in the form of his life this season. Having decided numerous matches in his team’s favor, he and Gonzalo Higuain form a deadly partnership upfront. The issue comes as Ronaldo must be in the starting eleven, causing Sarri a lot of headaches.

Two high-scoring teams collide and there isn’t a clear-cut favorite with Lazio in this form and playing at home. However, what’s almost certain is that we should see a lot of goals in both nets, so hopefully, these two sides offer us a spectacle for the ages.

Prediction: Over 2.5 goals
