2021 IIHF World Championship Host City & Arenas

The ice hockey World Championship will take place in Riga, Latvia. Games will be played in two sports arenas, the Olympic Sports Centre and Arena Riga. The first venue has a capacity of 6,200 spectators, while the second has a capacity of 10,300.

Minsk, Belarus was originally selected as the event’s co-host, but the Eastern European nation was stripped of those rights due to the safety and security situation in the country.
