It could also be a successful end to the season for Girona. The Spanish side currently sits in the Europa Conference League spot in the La Liga standings, and they could make a late charge for a Europa League spot if they are able to record four straight wins to end the season. 

However, they will be bidding to get back on track this weekend after they were held to a draw in their most recent fixture. That tie ended their three-match winning run. They were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw on the road against Real Sociedad, with Girona’s goals in that fixture being scored by Yan Couto and Cristhian Stuani.
