A resurgent Manchester United will travel to RAMS Park in Turkey to take on the hosts Galatasaray on Wednesday for the penultimate Champions League match of Group A. The clash is scheduled to kick off at 17:45 GMT.
Manchester United’s form in the Champions League has been poor. Out of the four matches they have played in Group A, Erik Ten Hag’s men have won once and lost three times.
The three points they have collected mean that they are rooted to the bottom of the group, a point behind Copenhagen and Galatasaray at four points, who are second and third respectively.
However, the Old Trafford side have shown signs of a resurgence in recent matches. They beat Everton 0-3 away from home in the first match after the international break, making it three consecutive wins in the Premier League, accompanied by three clean sheets.
In this run, Ten Hag’s men beat Fulham 0-1 away from home before overcoming Luton Town 1-0 at Old Trafford, before dispatching Everton 0-1 at Goodison Park.
Manchester United travel to Turkey to face Galatasaray in much better shape. Ten Hag will hope and expect that his charges will be in good spirits and ready for a tough examination at RAMS Park.
Bet hereRAMS Park will be the venue for Galatasaray on Wednesday, a cauldron of noise and support for the Turkish side as they look to make it a double over Manchester United in Group A.
Galatasaray are on four points after four matches, they are a point ahead of Manchester United, and a win will ensure that the Old Trafford side cannot catch them on the table.
Depending on the outcome of the other match in the group – Bayern Munich versus Copenhagen – Galatasaray could be a shoo-in to make it into the quarter finals with a home win.
The focus for Galatasaray will be to repeat the performance they displayed at Old Trafford on matchday 2. They will look to be energetic, compact, solid, and aggressive in their approach.
This approach will involve the crowd and make Manchester United uncomfortable. Galatasaray will also know they will face a more confident Manchester United side on Wednesday.
