It promises to be a tense battle for the qualification spots in Group E this year, as Albania face a four-way fight for the second spot in the standings. They have made a pleasing enough start to Group E, as they have won once in their opening two rounds of matches. However, they will need to claim maximum points this week against a lesser-ranked nation compared to the sides that they are directly up against in the race for a top two spot. 

Albania made a pleasing return to winning ways in their most recent international, as they recorded a 2-0 home win against Moldova. Both goals in that victory were netted in the second half, with Jasir Asani opening the scoring after 51 minutes. The second goal in the victory was added by Nedim Bejrami after 76 minutes.

The Faroe Islands will be massive outsiders to reach the major competition next summer, and they currently sit bottom of the Group E standings after two rounds of matches. However, they could potentially move up to second in the standings if they are able to pick up maximum points on Tuesday. 

They have scored just one goal in their two matches to this point, and they have allowed four goals. The hosts come into this fixture after losing their previous match, as they were beaten 3-0 by the Czech Republic on Saturday. A response will be needed by the hosts this week.
