Crystal Palace will host Tottenham Hotspur on Friday at 19:00 GMT for a Premier League clash at Selhurst Park Stadium.
Palace have won just once in their last five, including two draws and two defeats. They will look to bounce back from the 4-0 defeat away to Newcastle last weekend.
Roy Hodgson will focus on making his side compact and solid ahead of entertaining Tottenham.
Tottenham are unbeaten in the Premier League after nine rounds of fixtures. They have won seven times and drawn twice. They are at the top of the table with 23 points, two ahead of second-placed Man City.
Spurs will look to make it four consecutive wins in the League when they travel to Palace on Friday.
Roy Hodgson will prepare for the London derby clash against Tottenham with three players likely to be absent from the matchday squads ahead of Friday night football.
Goalkeeper Dean Henderson is a doubt for Palace ahead of hosting the league leaders on Friday. The 26-year-old shot-stopper is dealing with a torn thigh muscle that is likely to keep him out of the clash against Tottenham.
Defensive midfielder Jefferson Lerma is also unlikely to make the cut for Roy Hodgson’s matchday squad on Friday. The 28-year-old has been sidelined with an unknown injury since September 15th. The midfield enforcer has missed the last six matches for Palace and is unlikely to return in time to feature on Friday against Tottenham.
Right winger Michael Olise is dealing with a hamstring injury that has kept him out in the last 11 outings for Palace. The 21-year-old has missed this season for Palace; however, he will not be fit to be included in the matchday squad on Friday.
Bet hereAnge Postecoglou’s side has been flying in the Premier League this season. However, they have had their share of injury worries.
Left winger Manor Solomon suffered a Meniscus injury on October 5th, which has kept him on the sidelines in the last two matches for Tottenham. The 24-year-old is unlikely to be fit in time for Friday’s clash.
Left midfielder Ivan Perisic tore his cruciate ligament on September 20th and has missed the last four matches for Postecoglou’s side. Perisic, 34, is unlikely to be fit for Friday’s derby encounter.
Goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman is recovering from an ankle injury he suffered on August 3rd. The 25-year-old shot-stopper has missed 10 matches for Tottenham and will miss Friday’s derby.
Ange Postecoglou will also be without left midfielder Ryan Sessegnon, who underwent surgery on July 11th. The 23-year-old wide player has missed Tottenham’s last ten outings in all competitions.
Tottenham will also miss the services of central midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur. The 26-year-old tore his cruciate ligament on February 12, meaning it will take some time for him to return to the first-team squad, including the clash on Friday against Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace will look to improve their defensive solidity and compactness in midfield against the attacking approach adopted by Tottenham.
Hodgson will set his side up to contain Tottenham in midfield and at the back, defend in numbers, and attack with pace in transitions.
Tottenham will look to be expansive and direct in their approach. They will build up play from the back, press throughout the pitch, and look to counter-press when they lose possession.
Postecoglou will expect his charges to do the hard running and create chances.
Tottenham will have enough to win the match and extend their stay at the top of the table.
