There has been little to celebrate throughout this season for Sheffield United, with the Blades still locked in the bottom three positions in the league standings. They come into this round of matches without a win in their last five fixtures, and they have suffered defeats in two of their last three. That leaves the Blades seven points from safety at this stage. 

Crystal Palace may not yet be out of the woods when it comes to retaining their Premier League status, as Roy Hodgson’s side are just five clear of the bottom three. Over that period, the Blades have scored just seven goals, and they are yet to score more than once in any match.
