The chief referee of the KHL, Alexey Anisimov, summed up the referees’ work in the first part of the regular season.

“I am not ready to give an assessment, since many of the leading referees were sick and missed matches, then they recovered and so far had very few games. Only when everyone is in the ranks – including the top refs – it will be possible to talk about their professionalism. It is easier now to evaluate the work of individual referees.
