Chelsea host Arsenal in the Premier League on Tuesday, with the Blues looking to consolidate their position in the top four.
Frank Lampard’s side came out on top when the two sides met in December after late goals from Jorginho and Tammy Abraham helped overturn the Gunners’ 1-0 lead.
However, Chelsea haven’t been as impressive at Stamford Bridge as they have been away, losing four times at home in the Premier League this season.
Arsenal, on the other hand, continue to struggle on the road, winning just twice away from the Emirates Stadium.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Marco Van Ginkel are the only two guaranteed absences for the Blues, with both players still rehabilitating following long-term injuries.
N’Golo Kante, Marcos Alonso and Christian Pulisic are all doubts, but the Chelsea medical staff hope they will all be in contention to face the Gunners.
Arsenal will be without Calum Chambers and Kieran Tierney for this match, with both players months away from a return, while club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is suspended.
Elsewhere, Sead Kolasinac is a doubt because of a thigh injury, will Hector Bellerin’s fitness is being assessed day-to-day.
Chelsea have certainly been the more consistent side this season and look to be in a strong position to secure Champions League football for another season.
While they have a few long-term absentees, the Blues should be close to full fitness, while they also have the knowledge of a recent win against Arsenal to lean on.
Arsenal will have been disappointed with the way they threw away their lead against Lampard’s side in December, but will also be aware that they could have easily won that match.
Mikel Arteta has a number of injury concerns to manage, which does restrict his hand tactically, but it is clear the Gunners have been far more organised since his arrival.
Expect Chelsea to sneak this match 2-1, but for Arsenal to put on a good show in front of the Stamford Bridge crowd.
