Montreal Canadiens

Montreal again scored five goals and snatched Victoria with a score of 5-3, although before that they had lost two matches in a row without scoring any goals. However, we note that in the previous meeting, the Canadiens scored two goals in unequal compositions, one on the powerplay, and the other while killing a penalty. Joel Armia scored a pair. 

Philadelphia Flyers

Philadelphia cannot end the streak without adventure for themselves. There is an impression that the Flyers again forgot about defense as it happened in the second match of the series and thoughtlessly went on the attack, for which they paid the price. Although many are accustomed to seeing that the team has a complete harmony of defense and offense. 

Despite this, Jakub Voracek played the match almost flawlessly, if we don’t take his penalty into account. He scored two goals and made an assist, but his actions were not enough to win. Note that very often Alain Vigneault’s team brake the rules and this, perhaps, was the main reason for their defeat. 

Montreal Canadiens – Philadelphia Flyers prediction

In our opinion, Philadelphia should take control of the situation in the upcoming game from the very beginning and not run recklessly into the offence. If the Flyers play more disciplined in the forthcoming match and will not allow many penalties, they will be able to advance to the next round without any problems. We think that they will be able to do it.
